How to Write a Really Good Blog Post
~Draw Your Readers in With a Good Title~
The first thing someone looks at while browsing the world wide web is your title. It's like a first impression. Many people will decide whether or not to read your article based purely off of that first snap shot of your work. It may feel like you are playing a game of scrabble trying to find the right words. But just keep it simple. In your title incorporate the whole picture. Not just a minuscule moment. If your start off too small you will lose a lot of readers attention so the broader you can be the better. Attack something everyone can relate to in order to draw in a bigger crowd, then wow them with your message.
~BE RELATABLE~
Let's be honest here. No one loves reading a boring old Wikipedia page about what happened and why. They want the details, opinions, and the bigger picture in order to form their own ideas and really find what they are searching for. That is why they came to your blog, for an opinion on something, so give it to them.~Be Short and Sweet~
It is simple like I said before get your point across and get out. No one wants to sit there for 40 minutes reading your blog post then another hour trying to figure out what the heck you just said. Use this to your advantage. Don't over complicate it with big words that you had to google yourself, clear terminology is key in the blogging world.
Your audience can range from teenagers to adults, so include them all! Don't exclude anyone and choose topic everyone wants to hear about. Keep it short, sweet, intimate, and entertaining and you have got this thing down. Happy Blogging Y'all!
